Transaction coordinator and personal assistant Debbie Starr brings 35+ years of real estate experience to the table. All of Debbie’s work is “behind the scenes”. Licensed since 1980 her roles have been diverse within our organization. From receptionist, to bookkeeping, to relocation management, to office management and employee supervision, to transaction management, marketing coordinator and everything in between! As a member of Rick Ahmann’s real estate team at Windermere of Helena she puts all of her expertise to use assisting Rick and his clients in achieving their real estate goals.
Debbie is a Helena native and raised her family here. As part of her commitment to the community that she grew up in, Debbie is involved in various local organizations such as Family Promise of Greater Helena, St. Paul’s United Methodist Church and Intermountain Children’s Home. In addition, she has supported the efforts of numerous community programs such as Habitat for Humanity, Prickly Pear Land Trust, Last Chance Nordic Ski Club, The Myrna Loy Center, Helena Food Share, Toys for Tots, Salvation Army’s Adopt a Family Program, and The Lost and Foundation.
Debbie and her husband Mark enjoy truly living in Montana’s outdoors and are avidly involved in hiking, camping, golfing, and cross country skiing. She enjoys running and has completed 7 half marathons in various locations throughout the country – all since turning 50!
