A woman who is about town, Mary has had her real estate license since 2009, but has been in the business since shuffling papers for her Dad when she was 5. “It’s second nature to me, actually, it is first nature.” Specializing her work with First Time Home Buyers, Mary dedicates herself to seeing the transaction through. When she isn’t out looking at houses, you can find Mary occasionally slinging beverages at her husband’s distillery, Gulch Distillers. “I have always worked downtown. It is nice to have our new office in the center of it all.” If you don’t find her at the office, you might look at some of her favorite hangouts: The General Mercantile or The Blackfoot Brewery, or just walking up and down the walking mall.
Mary currently is the President for the Helena Association of Realtors and on the board of the Holter Museum. She volunteers for numerous non-profit organizations, including Prickly Pear Land Trust and Western Sustainability Exchange. She is the mother of two little girls, Genevieve and Hazel. Mary loves the outdoors, her community of Helena, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
Real Estate is different every day. I get to work with different people in all sorts of different situations. It is my love of this community that makes me love my job so much. I am a multi-generation Helenan and come from a long line (at least 6 generations) of ancestors from Montana. Helena has changed a bit over the years, but it has kept me around. I want to see our downtown thrive, it is at the heart of our community. I want my little girls to be as in love with Helena as I have been. This is why I sell real estate, so I can have an impact on what makes our community special, the people and the place.
