At Windermere, we understand the importance of family and giving back to the communities in which we live and serve. That’s why we created the Windermere Foundation, which has supported low-income and homeless families throughout the West for 22 years. The generous donations of Windermere associates and public supporters have allowed us to provide over 22 million dollars to hundreds of non-profit organizations.
Non-profit agencies receiving Windermere Foundation dollars have furnished emergency and transitional housing; have subsidized costs for services such as employment counseling, placement and training, day care, scholarships and much more. A significant portion of Windermere Foundation dollars go toward programs that help children. Establishing and funding literacy programs, underwriting the costs of summer camp, and providing basic necessities such as new school shoes, socks, and backpacks are among the many projects that the Windermere Foundation supports.
Locally, Windermere Helena supports many non-profits within our community. This year we started the #TackleHelenaHomelessness campaign in order to build awareness and fund-raise to help fight homelessness in Helena. As a proud sponsor of the Carroll College Fighting Saints, Windermere Helena is donating $10 to Family Promise for every Saint football home game tackle.
